Still on the subject of Christmas

Christmas shopping for the children, every year I buy the atypical characterized merchandise that the children like and want and usually by February they are bored with "Iggle Piggle" and "Ben 10" or whatever else they were into before and around Christmas so this yeah I have decided to get them only a small amount of "Branded Toys" and to get them simple yet entertaining toys, well anyway I have wishlists upon wishlists of stuff that I want to get them, from Toy ovens, pots, pans, puzzles, craft stuff, dolls and all that jazz but I did come across an online shop that has the cutest little presents (for little prices!) so I thought I would share with you just what I had in mind for my children (well just a little peek anyway :)

74 days until Christmas!

Eeeek shops are starting to fill up with Christmas confectionery and sparkly shiny things! and its filling me with excitement and panic!! you see I usually start my Christmas shopping in May/June but not this year, from January until August I was planning my Wedding so 7 months of my Life have literally disappeared and now I'm in a blind panic trying to make sure I have everything from presents to Christmas party food (not the fresh stuff of course) but I'm sure Ill swing it...I hope!

Last year was not as good as i would have liked it to be, you see Me and Luke decided to move out of London so that the children could grow up in a much quieter countryside rather than the big busy city but whilst doing this we left pretty much all of our family behind so Christmas was quiet and and quite dull (once the children were in bed anyway) and at the moment we live in quite a small house were we can all sit down together as a family and have Christmas dinner so the Children ate first and then us later that evening, besides all of this the children had a fantastic day full of excitement and food!

Though it didn't feel like Christmas to me I certainly Looked the part!

Christmas 2012

Christmas 2011 was much better, We had Luke's Mum over and My sister Amber (Who was pregnant at the time) and Her Partner Kieran, The children were happy, we were happy, good food, good atmosphere and most definitely good company!

For Christmas 2013 I am Hoping to recreate Christmas 2011 but better! My Sister, Baby Lucy and Kieran are here :D

Comping!!!

Now Back in 2010 just after I had my twins I would be up of and evening on the nights they wouldn't sleep so I would have them in their bouncers both half asleep and I refused to risk putting them in bed until they were totally and utterly in a deep sleep as not 1 but 2 screaming unhappy tired babies was far to much of a risk, so I would sit up for hours, well anyway I thought I would give comping a go, Now apart from my Amazing children and husband I had never really won anything in my life so I entered a few competitions without expecting much of it, I would do this every time I was up with the babies, Soon enough I have prize after prize turning up at my door, now don't get me wrong I entered a lot of competitions and the amount of prizes against how many entries is next to nothing BUT I do have quite a bit to show for it! So here are a few pictures ( just a small number of my wins)

I Still Comp to this day but not as often, but just remember you have to be in it to win it :)
